Many multi-storey residential and commercial buildings have windows and facades sitting at heights beyond what a standard ladder or pure-water pole can safely reach - typically that limit sits around the 4th-5th floor, depending on the building's configuration and wind conditions. For these cases, we use lift or rope-access techniques, which let us safely and thoroughly clean every window or facade section regardless of floor height.
This service is relevant for owners and managers of office buildings, shopping centres, apartment buildings, and other multi-storey properties, for whom regular window cleaning with a ladder simply isn't safely feasible. Working at height requires not just different equipment but a different planning approach too - weather, ground access, and the building's facade configuration all affect how and when the work can be carried out.
These two access methods aren't interchangeable - each suits different conditions. We use a lift (a truck-mounted platform) when there's sufficiently wide, level access for the vehicle at the building, and the building's height is within the lift's technical range - it's a faster, more convenient solution for facades with simple geometry. We use rope access when there's no room at ground level to position a lift (for example, a narrow street, dense development, or an inner courtyard with no vehicle access), when the building exceeds the lift's reach, or when the facade's shape (projections, balconies, decorative elements) prevents the lift platform from getting close to the surface. During the site visit, we assess both factors - ground access and the building's height/shape - and propose the method that's both safer and more efficient for that specific property.

Likewise, when working above or near pedestrian paths, we cordon off the ground-level work area to protect passers-by from potential falling objects or water spray. This caution isn't an exceptional measure - it's a standard part of planning any height work, and we build it into every property's schedule from the very start.
